Our sustainability criteria — consistent & honest
We have clear standards for what sustainable production means—from materials to delivery. Here we show you our criteria in detail.
Taking responsibility
With fair products.
We have long-standing relationships with our manufacturers, which have now become friendships. Together, we define and pursue goals that ensure the manufacture of sustainable products under ethically sound conditions. Compliance with the BSCI Code of Conduct is regularly monitored by an independent auditing organization.
In addition to the well-known logos for our certifications, you will find an overview of our special features and product characteristics here.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is an international standard for the treatment of organically produced fibres.
Porcelain and ceramics are often made of clay, which may contain bone meal. We deliberately avoid this and work exclusively with manufacturers whose raw materials do not contain animal meal. Our crockery is free from any animal ingredients and is therefore vegan.
A responsible approach to our environment is very important to us. We constantly scrutinise our production steps, initiate long-term changes at our company and our manufacturers and remain dynamic. In addition to our production processes, we are also working to minimise our company's emissions.
Respect and fair treatment of one another are among the most important criteria for us in terms of good cooperation. Our manufacturers are members of the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI), which aims to realise a global improvement in working conditions.

The manufacture of this product is climate-neutral. The material consists of renewable raw materials such as maize, wheat or sugar cane. To grow, the plants need carbon dioxide, which they take from the air. The production of bioplastics therefore removes CO₂ from the atmosphere - just as much as is later released when they are incinerated or decompose. Bioplastics are therefore regarded as an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional plastic.
Stainless steel is very heat-resistant and durable. The material offers you a practical and sustainable alternative to plastic packaging. Stainless steel products are a good way to start your low-waste lifestyle.
This product has been produced with responsible use of nature and fair labour conditions and has been awarded the Fairtrade seal. Organic cotton is a renewable raw material whose use has many advantages. The cultivation of organic cotton uses less water. In the event of pest infestation, only biological agents are used to control them. In addition, the cotton is fertilised organically. The environmentally friendly cultivation is beneficial for the local people and soil, but also for you and your skin. Organic cotton is cultivated by small farmers and harvested gently, usually by hand. The fibres are hard-wearing and durable.
